Real Housewives of Miami: Marysol Patton teases ‘snap’ with OG co-star
Real Housewives of Miami is finally back after a long eight-year absence from our screens, and to say we’re thrilled it’s back is an understatement.
There are some familiar faces in the cast for season four, with OG RHOM stars Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton and Larsa Pippen return to the fold.
They will also star co-star Lisa Hochstein, and newcomers Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova and Nicole Martin, with Kiki Barth as ‘friends’.
Talking to Metro.co.uk Before the first episode, which airs on hayu on Friday, Marysol teased an almighty bust with one of her original friends.
She told us, “I had a bit of trouble with OG. ‘But when you see it, you’re like, “Yeah, I’ll strangle her too”.
‘For the most part, there’s only one tie there. We have known each other for too long. It’s like working with family. ‘
Is your family ‘starting’?
Series four sees the return of Larsa, who left the franchise after the first season – and she looks set to have a bumpy comeback if the trailer has anything to do with it.
In fact, in a particularly barbaric row on the dining table, She was accused of trying to be the new Kim Kardashian, referring to her old friendship with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
Again, opening the lid on how it filmed with her original co-star, Marysol admitted that they ‘made up’.
‘I haven’t seen Larsa since our reunion in season one. And I never saw her again until we started filming,’ she said.
‘It’s great. I enjoyed her company and we made up and we are good. I love having her there.
‘I think it went the way she wanted to go. Sure. I don’t know what she thinks, but I think it’s going well. ‘
RHOM first debuted in 2011 and became an instant fan favorite before being broadcast two years later.
Marysol was a full-time Housewife for her first two seasons before being cast as a ‘friend of’ in season three.
And she confesses that it was a difficult decision to apply for the fourth time in front of the camera.
‘They called us back last December, and I’m still not married to my husband. And I’m really worried,’ she continued. ‘I thought, Oh, my God, I don’t want anything to spoil this. I’m very happy. I finally found my love. I don’t want anything to ruin it.
‘So there was a time when I was really worried about that. But then fast forward to June when they say, “Okay, come on. Let’s do this. We want you there. “Looks like I need to do that. It’s something in my gut, you have to do it, you have to be there with your friends. And I love girls, my OGs. We are all really close. I can’t imagine them doing this without me. ‘
Despite the hesitation, she added: ‘If we had a fifth season, and they wanted me there, I would love to do it.
‘I love filming and I love doing it with my friends, I love the production company. It’s fun, I love it. And I bring my mom with me when I’m filming. ‘
