Reading and Leeds 2022: How to get tickets to see arctic monkeys, Dave, Halsey, etc

Reading and Leeds The organizers have announced the first wave of acts to be performed at next year’s festivals.

The 2022 edition will be titled by six artists: rapper Dave, arctic monkey and Rage Against the Machines, along with Halsey, Megan Thee Stallion and Bring Me the Horizon.

The lineup is significantly more diverse than previous versions. This is the first time in the festival’s history that more than one actress is at the top; Megan Thee Stallion and Halsey are also the first women to top the chart since Paramore co-wrote Queens of the Stone Age in 2014.

General release tickets are on sale now – buy them here. The events will take place from August 26-28, 2022.

Fans on social media are calling the lineup so far one of the “best lineups in years”.

Also on the checkout are US rappers Polo G and British artists Little Simz, Wolf Alice, Glass Animal and Circa Waves.

Simz received unanimous acclaim for her latest album, I can be an introvert sometimes, while rock band Wolf Alice was also praised for their record, Blue Weekend.

Italian rock band Maneskin and Irish group Fontaines DC are also scheduled to perform.

Maneskin had a huge year after winning Eurovision, then charting in the US and UK with singles like “MAMMAMIA” and “I Wanna Be Your Slave”.

Rage Against the Machine is returning to the festival after it was originally booked for 2020, which was canceled due to the pandemic. They were last reported in 2008. Read The Independent’s Interview with guitarist Tom Morello here.

The arctic monkeys are pre-ordered in their latest headline for 2022 amid speculation that they are preparing to release a new album.

Last year’s festivals were spearheaded by Stormzy, Liam Gallagher and Post Malone.
