Raven’s 5 Corners Could Be Doubtful Against Sunday’s Steelers Game – CBS Baltimore

OWINGS MILLION, Md. (WJZ) – All five corners on the Baltimore Ravens depth chart is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to injury reports released Friday.

The team’s top cover man, Marlon Humphrey, and veteran card player Tavon Young both missed Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday practice because of illness.

No 2 Anthony Averett was out of training Wednesday and had limited participation on Thursday and Friday with shoulder and ankle injuries.

Veteran Jimmy Smith appears to be making progress from a neck injury, moving from limited participation on Wednesday to full participation on Thursday. But he did not practice at all on Friday and the team said he is facing an ankle injury.

Second-year Chris Westry had only a limited training session on Friday as he battled a thigh injury.

Earlier this week, the team placed 28-year-old Kevon Seymour on the Reserve/COVID-19 roster, days after he was signed from the practice squad to the active roster.

Raven have three full-backs in their training squad, Robert Jackson, Kevin Toliver and Mazzi Wilkins. According to NFL rules, teams can raise Up to two players on the team practice without removing anyone from the active roster. The deadline to make those two moves is 4 p.m. Saturday.
