Raven reveals custom footwear for ‘My Cause My Cleats’ campaign – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Each season, NFL players don’t use custom tags to showcase the cause they’re passionate about as part of the league’s “My Cause My Cleats” campaign.
On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens revealed some of the specialized boots the team’s players will wear when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at Heinz Field.

Tight End Mark Andrews, a type 1 diabetic, will wear a pair of shoes in support of JDRF, a nonprofit that raises money for diabetes research.

“Diabetes is a part of me, but I would never let it define me or my dreams,” says Andrews’ cleats.

Patrick Queen’s bra will be worn in honor of Autism Speaks, a group that funds autism research and raises awareness about the condition.
