Quin69 gets banned on Twitch for the second time in two months

Longtime Twitch streamer Quin69 has been banned from the Amazon-owned platform for the second time this year. First is just last month, after the streamer spoke out about the possibility of women being sexually assaulted based on looks. Many considered this misinformation and illogical and this misinformation resulted in Quin69 being suspended for eight days.

The streamer’s latest ban came on February 16, when he was playing Path of Exile’s new season for his skits. He was playing continuously for a week at the time. The broadcast ended abruptly and fans had no idea what happened.

Immediately after his ban, fans on Reddit Share their thoughts on what might have caused it. The general consensus is that Quin69’s ban is due to him showing a BB gun on stream for a short period of time.

The streamer revealed the airsoft gun and pointed it at the camera before quickly putting it away. That’s against Twitch Community Guidelines to “swipe a deadly or harmful weapon, such as a gun”. However, the streamer has yet to confirm any official reason for his ban.

Despite not being able to continue the spin-off, Quin69 seems to be having a lot of fun. Immediately after learning that he was suspended, the streamer posted a funny clip to Twitter showed his 2022 resolutions. One, interestingly, is “Don’t get banned.”
