Princess Charlotte wears a special brooch in honor of Queen Elizabeth

Princess Charlotte played a major role at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral on Monday.
Aside from attending the funeral procession, the seven-year-old had a sweet tribute to her late great-grandmother.
Charlotte wore a crystal horseshoe brooch on her black coat for the sombre event.
The late monarch was a big fan of animals – particularly horses and corgis.
The diamond jewelry was pinned to her jacket and she also donned a black dress, stockings, a hat and ballet flats.
Charlotte walked alongside her older brother Prince George, 9, during the funeral along with their parents Prince William and Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey in London.
The young princess seems to have inherited her great-grandmother’s passion for horses when Middleton, 40, met Paralympic Equestrian Natasha Baker in 2018.

At the time, Baker shared how meeting Middleton went and Charlotte’s love for animals.
“I asked her how the kids were and she said Charlotte was really enjoying the horseback riding, which is great to hear,” Baker said at the time. “She emphasized that Charlotte has this passion for horses and while she won’t repeat that, she will do her best to champion and encourage it.”
