Prince Harry’s upcoming autobiography will blame Camilla for his mental health woes, a royal expert has claimed.
Angela Levin believes the bombshell book, due to be released later this year, could be a ‘vicious attack’ on the future Queen Consort for ‘stealing’ Charles from Diana.
the Duke of Sussexwho has vowed to give a “completely truthful” and “honest” account of his life the memoirsHe has yet to publicly address the Queen’s decision Pass the reins to Camilla when the time comes.
Sources have previously suggested Harry’s silence “speaks volumes” about his relationship with Charles’ second wife.
Royal biographer Angela has since said that Camilla can expect a bunch of public badmouthing in his forthcoming tome.
Angela, who spent a year with Harry for an authorized biography, told Talk Radio: “Harry’s memoir will be out later this year.
“Everyone who is anyone says they’re going to attack Camilla and blame her [his] mental health and how it stole his father from his mother.”
Asked about Harry’s relationship with the Duchess of CornwallShe continued: “When I met him he was very nice to her, said she was a wonderful woman and said he liked her very much.
“Camilla was also very helpful to Meghan when she first came along – took her to lunch and tried to teach her some of the things she needed to know – the limitations and the downsides as well as the positives.”
The royal expert went on to claim the book could be a form of “revenge” and “wicked” towards the royal family.
She added: “Prince Charles is very malleable because he loves Harry very much, so maybe he’s more inclined to let him have his way.
“But I think if he reads what he says about Camilla, he won’t.”
Last month The Sun revealed Charles had told his aides he was worried his younger son’s book will be an “agonizing takedown” of his wife — especially in the early years of their romance.
A source said: “There are concerns about Harry’s memories of Camilla’s entry into the royal family and how her long-standing romance with Charles damaged him from an early age.
“Harry is fiercely loyal and protective of his late mother and her legacy and has not approved of Camilla becoming his father’s love.
“Understandably, he found those early years incredibly difficult and he could publicly blame Camilla for much of what he feels went wrong in his childhood and the trauma that caused the whole situation.”
The source added that Charles is “deeply protective of Camilla” and that the “last thing he needs” is a “hurtful shutdown of Camilla at a time when people have finally taken her to their hearts.”
In announcing his forthcoming memoir with Penguin Random House last year, Harry said, “I write this not as the prince I was born, but as the man I have become.
“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and I hope that by telling my story — the ups and downs, the mistakes, the lessons learned — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.
“I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I have learned throughout my life and look forward to people reading a first hand account of my life that is accurate and absolutely truthful.”
