POLICE released an image of a man they wanted to talk to about a suspicious fire in which one person died.

Officers are calling for help in locating Liam Petts, 24, following a deadly apartment fire in the basement.

It took firefighters 90 minutes to put out the fire on Thursday.

Paramedics attended but one person, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead in Folkestone, Kent.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but it is currently being treated as suspicious.

“We are appealing to the public for help in finding a man. It is believed that Liam Petts may have the information”.
