Police: 2 killed in Kentucky restaurant shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – Police say they have arrested one person after two men were fatally shot at a crowded restaurant in Kentucky. The Louisville Metro Police Department said 21-year-old Karson Reitz was arrested and charged with murder in the Thursday night shooting at the Roosters restaurant location on the Preston Freeway. Police say security footage from inside the restaurant shows Reitz shooting two people. They said he acknowledged the shooting in a statement to a detective. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said 48-year-old Michael Miller from Louisville died at the scene and 51-year-old Bradley Cross from Shepherdsville died at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing. Police have yet to say what the motive for the shooting was.
