Pinellas County Delegates Announce DUI ‘Wolfpack’ Results Overnight

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. – Pinellas County deputies and local police agencies conducted the DUI Wolfpack overnight and announced the results of the operation Sunday morning.

Participating agencies include the Florida Highway Patrol, Gulfport Police Department, Kenneth City Police Department, Largo Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department, St. Petersburg, the Clearwater Police Department and the Tarpon Springs Police Department.

Activity starts at 7:00pm on Saturday and ends at 5:00am on Sunday.

The result of the operation is:

• Driving when License is suspended or revoked – 20
• No insurance – 3
• Speeding ticket – 85
• Violation of D/L – 2 . limits
• Violation Don’t Move – 32
• Move Violation – 32
• Quote DUI – 24
• Total citations – 198

This DUI Wolf pack is dedicated to John Sorensen. John was killed by a impaired driver on January 31, 2016. The disabled driver was driving the wrong way on District 1 Road and hit John in the face. The driver was sentenced to 13 years in prison for DUI Manslaughter.
