Piers Morgan is responding to claims a guest on his talk show Uncensored has been censored

Piers Morgan has responded to claims made by a guest on his show Uncensored that she was instructed by the producers not to speak on certain subjects.

On the list of topics to avoid was Morgan’s “vengeful obsession” with Meghan Markle, according to comedian and political activist Kate Smurthwaite.

Earlier this week, Smurthwaite appeared on Morgan’s newly launched talk show where they discussed the Duchess of Sussex.

After her segment on Piers Morgan uncensored However, Smurthwaite claimed that she was told by the producers not to address some issues.

On Thursday night (May 26), she tweeted that a producer “told me at least three things NOT to say on air.”

Morgan promptly replied, “I just checked and nobody tried to censor you — we don’t censor guests, that’s the point of the show.”

“Yes, I was,” Smurthwaite replied. “Great, put me back on and I’ll say all the things I’ve been told not to say.”

In a follow-up column for The mirror Released on Friday (May 27), the political activist claimed producers asked her “not to mention a few things I said in our earlier conversation.”

“A remarkable request for a show that is literally named Uncensored,” She said.

Smurthwaite continued, “They didn’t want me to get ‘too personal’ with Morgan. They didn’t want me to criticize or try to explain his “vengeful obsession.” [Meghan Markle].

“The main thing they didn’t want was me saying, ‘You know that no matter how many hours you spend swearing at her, she still won’t fuck you?’ TRUE. Strange. Revealing. What’s not to love?”

She further criticized Morgan’s “nasty attitude towards some celebrities” as well as “the way the right-wing media screams censorship when it suits them and engages in exactly the same thing when it doesn’t suit them”.
