Pierre Morris’ body was found off LI 2 weeks after he fell off the boat

The body of a Queens man has been recovered off the coast of Long Island – two weeks after police said he appeared to have fallen overboard while working on a boat.
Pierre Morris, 45, of Far Rockaway, was found dead outside Smith Point County Park in Shirley around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
Investigators said Morris, an employee of H&L Contracting in Hauppauge, disappeared on November 18 while he was working on a boat at Smith Point Marina in Shirley.
A colleague reported Morris missing after 3 p.m. that same day.
It is believed that Morris’ death was the result of a fall into the water.

There was no immediate response to a query from Pierre’s employer on Thursday.
