Photos of a young Nikola Jokic have recently resurfaced online and fans can’t get over how incredible his transformation has been.
Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets are just one more of them after a comfortable 118-102 win in Game 5 over the Western Conference Finals Phoenix Suns.
Jokic has established himself as a tenacious MVP candidate over the past few years and is one of the most unique and versatile bigs in the world NBA has ever seen.
The two-time MVP has continued to assert his dominance in this series, recently overtaking Wilt Chamberlain by one center for most playoff triple-doubles.
Jokic finished the tournament with 29 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists to bag his 10th career playoff triple-double. He averaged 35 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in the streak against the Suns.

Jokic was born on February 19, 1995 in Sombor, Serbia to an agricultural engineer father and a nurse father. One can say that he comes from a modest background and grew up with his parents, two brothers and his grandmother in a cramped two-room apartment.
His journey to becoming one of the best basketball players in the world has been quite impressive, and it’s easy to forget the origins of the near 7fter.

He seems to have always been a Nuggets fan
In 2022, Joker’s agent Misko Raznatovic shared one Instagram Photo of a five-year-old Jokic in 2000 wearing a Nuggets sweatshirt.
Jokic wore the sweatshirt that day because he received it as a random gift. It’s nothing short of amazing that this boy from Sombor, Serbia would one day grow up to be the face of the franchise.
He’s certainly come a long way, and now an NBA championship is just around the corner.
