PGA Tour 2K23 Release Date, Deluxe Edition and Tiger Woods Cover Revealed

Entries on Amazon dug this up Release date of PGA Tour 2K23 and more information about the Deluxe Edition of the game. It was available for pre-order from retailers for a brief window, but they’ve since been replaced with “temporarily out of stock” or “sorry, we couldn’t find this page” notifications. The game is apparently scheduled for release on October 14, 2022 on the platforms PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S | X and Xbox One will be released, with last-gen standard versions costing $59.99 and current-gen versions costing $69.99. The Deluxe Edition for current-gen consoles has been priced at $99.99 (screenshot posted below) and comes with a 3-day early access, which is why the release date is October 11, 2022.

PGA Tour 2K23 Tiger Woods cover and new features revealed

Amazon’s item description for PGA Tour 2K23 (which has been removed at the time of writing but can be seen in our screenshot above) reveals that for the first time you can play as both male and female pros, including Tiger Woods. The game introduces Topgolf, a popular golf driving range game for up to 1-4 players in local or online play. As usual, you can play at legendary PGA Tour courses like TPC Sawgrass and East Lake Golf Club, form online companies and share your golf course creations with Course Designer.

2K’s deal with Tiger Woods has also come to fruition as the legendary player is now featured on the cover in his signature red jersey. Announced in March of last year, this partnership came well in advance of EA Sports announcing the revival of its PGA Tour franchise, which was pushed back a year to Spring 2023 (thanks, PlayStationLifestyle). Aside from the 3-day early access, the Deluxe Edition (in a now-deleted product description on Amazon) comes with dual-gen eligibility and various bonuses such as the Michael Jordan Bonus Pack (will we be able to play as him?), Deluxe Bonus Pack, and Golden Club -Package.
