Petrol prices: where you can fill up the cheapest

RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) – The average gas price in North Carolina is currently $4.43; that’s eight cents less than a month ago.

However, these prices are still higher than anyone would like to see. However, experts warn that the lower prices could rise again if oil prices rise or a hurricane forces refineries to close.

CBS 17 looked to Gas Buddy for Wednesday morning’s lowest prices in the area that don’t require a store membership.

In Raleigh, the Murphy Express on Fayetteville Road, which is right on the edge of Raleigh and Garner, has the lowest fare of $4.03.

And in Cary, you can get gas Wednesday morning for $4.37 at Sheetz on Kumar Court.

Drivers in Rocky Mount can get gas for $4.26 a gallon from Sheetz on NC 43.

If you’re in Clayton, you can find business gasoline on US 70 at Murphy USA for $4.04 a gallon.

In Roxboro, gas at Sheetz on Madison Boulevard is $4.29 a gallon.
