Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski Compatibility: The Astrologer Says It All

There’s something with Pete.

Mr. Pete Davidson continues his sacred quest to date the world’s most beautiful women, the Scorpio King of Staten Island and the crown prince of regrettable tattoos, and has recently been linked to model/actress/author Emily Ratajkowski.

The brunette babes were spotted holding hands in Brooklyn (cute) and wore matching sweatpants for Davidson’s birthday.

Reports suggest the couple has been casually dating for a few months, although I question the validity of “casual” since Davidson’s zodiac sign is Scorpio. While our man loves to dress smartly, he’s practically unable to engage in the relationship equivalent of flip-flops.

Both parties are relatively new to the singles scene. Ratajkowski, 31, who @emrata to her Instagram followers, filed for divorce from her unkind, blue-eyed husband, who goes by the obnoxious name Sebastian Bear-McClard, in September. Known for her appearances in Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines music video, the film Gone Girl, and her essay book My Body, Ratajkowski shares a child, a son named Sylvester, with her ex. Post dumped and before Davidson, Emrata shared Brad Pitt hooked up and made out with Orazio Rispo on the streets of NYC. Got it.

Davidson, 28, split from girlfriend Kim Kardashian in August after nine months of dating. Before his relationship with Kim K, Davidson dated Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber, Phoebe Dynevor and Ariana Grande, to whom he was briefly engaged. Damn hot list my mate, damn good list.

Now that we’ve established where Davidson and Ratajkowski have been and who they’re bedded with, let’s talk about their odds. What are the stars saying about the compatibility of this beauty and her BDE wearer? Read on to find out more.

Airy vs. brooding

At first glance, Ratajkowski’s breezy, inquisitive, footless, and nipple-free Gemini Sun seems like an odd match to Davidson’s brooding Scorpio self. Gemini prefer to keep it light and talk everything to death, while Scorpios demand depth and dedication and can be sparse with words. This difference in communication style is exaggerated by the fact that both have Mercury, the planet of speech and exchange, in the same sign as their respective suns.

Still, for now and in the initial frenzy of sentiment, it seems novelty trumps compatibility, with sources saying Davidson makes Ratajkowski laugh and he digs at how smart she is. Laughter and cerebral communion, we love to hear that folks, and after the heartbreaking experience of betrayal and divorce, we’re glad Ratajkowski is back at it with someone to make her laugh.

When air signs like Gemini and water signs like Scorpio interact, there is often intrigue, concern, and resistance to the blood oath, hairdolls, in the name of air, the intensity that Scorpio is always trying to evoke. In terms of archetypes, think of this Davidson/Ratajkowski pairing as Gomez Adams trying hard to get Nicole Kidman to accept his offer of undying love.

But romantics, don’t worry. The abundance of Leo in Ratajkowski’s chart (she has Mars, Venus and Jupiter all in solid fire) suggests a deep need for worship that a Scorpio like Davidson, who has taken said blood oath, will be more than happy to fulfil. There’s a fine line between affection and obsession, and it’s a line Scorpio likes to walk around.

moons in contradiction

Indicating the style of need and attachment, the pair’s moon signs are at right angles to each other, with Davidson’s moon in hard hitting, grinding or dying, never good enough capricorn and Ratajkowski’s in born for war, rise as the only option, burn the Boote, beat your ex Aries. In astrology, square aspects are seen as challenging but transformative, suggesting that this union will not be easy but has the potential to be truly transformative.

Because the Moon is all about safety, primal instincts, and sustenance, it can be difficult for these two to give each other what they need. Since both have their moons in cardinal signs, there will be power struggles and compromises are few and far between. However, as a bonus, there is A LOT of strong physical energy between square moon signs, suggesting that sex is going to be arson and the aftermath is full of fireworks. Here here.

Squares within relationships exist to activate us and ultimately accelerate personal development. So while all things and all relationships must end, the best of them change us for the better. Medicine comes in many forms and we hope that Davidson and Ratajkowski can be that for each other and for each other. We can’t wait to see the body art she inspired, too. May you love long and ruthlessly get tattooed. We’re cheering you on, and when things don’t go well with Emrata, Petey, Dionne Warwick, she’s patiently waiting for her turn on your BD carousel.
