LITTLE People, Big World’s Isabel Roloff gave fans a rare glimpse into her beautiful son two weeks after giving birth, recounting the newborn after taking him to see his sister-in-law Audrey.
The 25-year-old is well known for her private life, especially when it comes to her son.
Isabel posted a photo of Mateo on her Instagram Story.
The baby is, for the most part, covered in the photo.
She proudly captioned the post: “You’re two weeks old,” along with an emoji that appears to be in tears.
Isabel’s post also includes a sticker that reads, “I love you so, so hard, like the most ever.”
She hasn’t shared many photos of her son since he was born, but has shown off pictures of the baby.
After her birth, Isabel posted a black and white photo of his fingers wrapped around her.
She includes some details of his birth, wrote: “Mateo Tomás is here and he is perfect. He arrived a week before 12/4 at 12:40 am.”
DON’T COME TO PLAN ONLY
Isabel reveals that Mateo’s birth was not what she expected, shared with fans: “Our birth did not go as planned; as we know it rarely happens in the world.”
“The past few weeks have shown me what real surrender and trust looks like. I’ve never been afraid of knees and hands and I’ve never known such great love.”
She continued: “To see Jacob as a father is the most heartwarming thing I’ve ever witnessed. Being a mother is what I feel the most.
“Through all of this, I affirm more than ever that our angels are always watching over us.”
Although the post didn’t feature Mateo’s face, fans and those who knew Isabel and Jacob, 24, noticed the baby in the comments.
Another sister-in-law Tori wrote: “Ahhhh da bingies!”
Audrey, who must meet Mateo recently, also commented: “I love him so much And you are a warrior Izzy. So much motherhood depends and trusts and you have learned to do it with so much grace. I love you! “
Despite the outpouring of love, Life after having a baby is not easy for Isabel.
In a vulnerable online post, she confessed to fans that she felt “lonely and isolated” after welcoming Mateo.
She retweeted a post that asked, “What is it that you wish you knew about the postpartum period or new motherhood before having a baby?”
The former TLC personality shared his answer above the photo, writing: “Although a lot of people have been through this before you, it can feel incredibly isolated and lonely.”
Then, in a Q&A with followers, she shared more about her struggles.
When asked how she’s doing, she admits: “I’d be stuck right now if Jacob hadn’t grown in so many ways.”
“Thank God for good husbands,” she continued.
