We all get gifts that we don’t care too much about – but often enough we’ll just throw them in the closet and never look at them again.
However, some people have decided to take their unwanted gifts and turn them into cash.
Many eBay sellers are selling Christmas gifts they don’t want, and many of them are still in their original packages.
Sellers can’t specify what’s in gifts when they’re unopened, but they’ll usually say whether the gifts are more suitable for men or women.
In many ways, the plan is win-win: people can buy pre-packaged Christmas gifts at a discount, and sellers can get rid of unwanted clutter.
In some cases, you can buy six prepackaged gifts, including things like toiletries, for as little as £21.99.
Some are unpackaged, so sellers can show exactly what they got for Christmas before selling them at a discounted price.
Many classic Christmas gifts appear on this list. For example, one man received eight different shower gel sets and we can’t blame him for choosing to sell them.
Another seller said it was selling women’s gifts and that the package would contain the gift set, toiletries, perfume and more.
So if you’re looking for stocking filler or something for your secret work santa, these eBay sales could be gold.
Some sellers make promises about what’s in their gift wrap, letting buyers know that even though the gifts are unwanted, they’re not junk.
One seller wrote: “NO FOOD OR DRINK RELATED ITEMS. NO GIMMICKS OR JUNK.
ALL GIFTS ARE USED. ”
To find these gift wraps, simply search for ‘unwanted Christmas gifts’ on eBay and you can have your Christmas shopping done in no time.
