DENVER (KDVR) – The unemployment rate fell below 5% in December 2021, the first time it has fallen to such a low level since March 2020, Governor Jared Polis and the Department of Labor and Jobs said.
“I’m excited that the unemployment rate is the lowest since the pandemic began and the positive job growth sends a clear message that Colorado continues to be the best place to live, work and grow a business. and the people of Colorado are moving forward. Our administration is on a mission to save people money, grow an even stronger workforce, invest historically in services to connect workers with well-paying work so that all we can grow,” Polis said.
