Paul Stanley signs contract with COVID-19 again, This time Omicron – Billboard
Paul Stanley Yes COVID-19, Again. The Kiss The guitarist/singer revealed to fans over the weekend that he’s been hit by the virus for the second time in six months. But this time, he came across the highly contagious Omicron variant that has been causing a large number of new cases globally over the past few weeks.

The glam rockers are in the midst of a revamp of their End of the Road Tour, which has been billed as their last ride ever; programs started in January 2019 and then postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic. The PA show popped up just a few gigs during the rebooted outing, then put on ice for two weeks after Stanley’s longtime bandmate, bassist/singer Gene Simmons , also contracted COVID.
The band was back on the road in September and wrapped up their day in the US on October 16 and played at KISS Kruise in October before announcing that their Las Vegas residency – expected to be… begins on Wednesday (December 29) – is Canceled as well as two weeks after the band’s longstanding guitar technology died of COVID-19. Kiss is scheduled to show 12 shows at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood through February 2022.
