Pat Sajak botches reaction to ‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant’s odd hobby

Pat Sajak didn’t have the GOAT reaction to a Wheel of Fortune contestant who revealed her lucrative hobby on Monday’s episode of the game show.

The 76-year-old host was just meeting the contestants when he bumped into a woman named Laura, whose fun fact was that she makes almost $92,000 milking her three goats to make her own soap.

“You milk goats? And you do – wait,” said Sajak, referring to his cue cards. “Milk – goat’s milk soup? Not soup, soap!”

“Goat’s milk soap,” Laura assured him. “It’s supposed to be really good for the skin. It’s really moisturizing. We have three goats that we milk every night.”

Sajak, who has hosted the show for 41 years, couldn’t come up with a follow-up question or a snarky response, so he just went on with, “Well, fine.”

It’s the latest embarrassing moment, adding to the growing list of what fans are calling his odd on-air behavior. In October, Sajak stabbed a contestant who failed to solve “one of the easiest final puzzles of all time.” He was slammed on social media in April for a “#MeToo” remark to 65-year-old letter writer Vanna White.

Earlier in March, Sajak was deemed “in cold blood” during her introductory interview with a contestant, during which the player revealed he had had his big toe chopped off.

All of this leads fans to suspect that Sajak is more focused on his retirement than Wheel of Fortune itself. He told Entertainment Tonight in September that “the end is near” for his latest spin.

“We are nearing the end. It was long ago [time]. We’re not going to do that for the next 40 years,” he said.

White also raised the idea of Sajak leaving the show in an interview with People.

“I don’t even want to think about that. I mean, we’re a team,” she said. “That is depressing. I don’t even want to think about it.

“I can not imagine that. Everyone associates ‘Wheel of Fortune’ with Pat and Vanna,” added White. “We’re like Ken and Barbie, you know? We’ve been in each home for 40 years, so it would be weird if someone else turned my letters over.”

It’s unclear whether Sajak and White will retire together.

The Post has reached out to White’s reps for comment.
