Notice of advice on boiling water

PASCO COUNTY, FL. – Pasco County Utilities is issuing a Boiling Water Warning Notice to customers in/near the following locations:

  • Zephy Ridge Community
  • Shady Oaks . Community
  • Crystal Springs Community
  • Bristol Meadows . Division
  • Chancey Street – East of Morris Bridge Road to Paul S. Buchman Zephyrhills Freeway Correctional Facility

The water distribution system in the area lost pressure today when a contractor drilling in the area collided with a 24-inch-long water pipe.

Water service has been restored; however, as a precaution, all water used for drinking or cooking must be boiled for at least one minute.

The ice maker should be turned off and all ice made within the last 12 hours should be discarded.

Pasco County Utilities apologizes for any inconvenience. This boil warning notice will remain in effect until normal water service is restored and tests show the water is safe for drinking and cooking. Notice of cancellation will be posted at that time.
