Paddy Pimblett accepts Logan Paul’s challenge to fight him at UFC

UFC star Paddy Pimblett is fighting YouTuber Logan Paul in the octagon after the influencer called him out earlier this month.
Both Logan and his brother Jake Paul have wanted to get involved with UFC since the beginning of their boxing careers. Jake notably won 5-0 while Logan Paul went the distance against legendary champion Floyd Mayweather last year.
In April, Logan told Ariel Helwani that his favorite foe would be up-and-coming Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett if he committed to the UFC, praising the fighter as “the next Conor McGregor.”
Despite concerns from fellow UFC fighters Sean O’Malley and Jorge Masvidal that Logan would beat him due to a huge size difference, Pimblett is still convinced he would make The Maverick tap.

During an interview with The Schmo, Paddy was asked about Logan Paul’s fight challenge – and he didn’t shrink from the opportunity.
“He knows who the boy is, doesn’t he? He knows who puts bums in seats, boy. I can’t imagine him mentioning anyone else,” said the Liverpool native called, before admitting the YouTuber had an advantage of scale. “I know he’s a lot taller than me, but I don’t think it really matters, to be honest.”
According to Pimblett, while Logan has an advantage with his size, his technical ability would be enough and sufficient to claim victory.
Logan Paul has proven he can box, but can he survive in the UFC?
“I think I would subdue him fairly easily and quickly, but you never know, anything can happen in a fight. If Logan Paul ever wants the fight boy I’m open to hearing what numbers he comes up with,” he added.
So far, Logan has reacted to Paddy taking the fight… but with UFC boss Dana White open to having older Paul brother in the octagon, it will be fun to see if the two go on to glove in the future.
