A team member of actress Laura Linney was allegedly attacked by an autograph seeker who attempted to aggressively invade the star’s private space.
The 59-year-old “Ozark” actress was accompanied by team members as she left the Christian Siriano Fashion Show at the Pierre Hotel in New York City on Friday. TMZ reported.
In a TikTok Video While Linney was showing off the attack, he was surrounded by fans and paparazzi just before the physical altercation outside the star-studded event.
As Linney waited for her car to arrive, a large man approached from behind with pen and paper in hand, seemingly to get an autograph from “The Truman Show.”
Their alleged team member tried to stop the man from getting too close to the star.
“Don’t f***ing touch me,” the autograph dog can be heard saying in the clip, pushing him out of the way.
“Hey! Hey! No,” the team member said as he selflessly placed his body between the star and the autograph dog.
“You don’t do that,” he added.
The team member claimed in the video that he “did not touch” the man.
Linney’s team member was then struck in the back of the head in a blind attack while the autograph dog retreated, glaring back and muttering angrily.
Worried about the worker, the frightened Linney quickly comforts him and asks if he is “fine.”
Then the autograph seeker at the hotel entrance turns back to Linney and her team and shouts “Don’t touch me” again before storming off.
The team member took the hit like a champ, shaking off the blow and assuring Linney that he was “fine” while smiling in disbelief before they got into their car and drove off.
The NYPD told the Post that no reports had been filed by the hotel regarding the incident.
The Post has reached out to Linney’s team for comment on the unprovoked attack.
Linney was in town as part of NYC Fashion Week, along with hundreds of high-profile celebrities who took part in the festivities across the city.
The Big C actress sat with Janet Jackson, Alicia Silverstone, Avril Lavigne, Kesha and Quinta Brunson Christian Siriano fashion show before attacking their team member.
The Siriano event started an hour behind schedule, but most people in attendance didn’t seem to mind given the upbeat atmosphere.
