Overwatch February 16 beta update buffs tank, Mercy & Soldier 76: patch notes

Many of Overwatch’s newest Experimental mode heroes have been updated in the February 16 patch notes, including Mercy and Soldier: 76.

The Overwatch the community was buzzing recent test patch this has turned almost every hero in the game upside down.

This patch, combined with more news about OWL’s return, refreshes the game in a way that players haven’t been used to in a long time.

Much of the same is true for the February 16 patch notes, which will now be live on all servers.

Winston players will be shocked to see their favorite ape finally get some love in a patch.

One of the most important parts of this update is the general changes coming to Tanks, who will get 20% more final points at the cost of some damage reduction.

This, combined with individual summoner spells for heroes like Wrecking Ball, Winston, D.Va, Roadhog, and Orisa should make these Tanks feel much more powerful in the coming weeks.

But, that doesn’t mean other people don’t get some love, too.

The Mercy power source will be opened to view these patch notes.

One of the biggest beneficiaries of the notes is Mercy.

Winged healers will now fly 30% faster and Guardian Angels will gain 25% movement speed. These buffs combine with a few other buffs in the notes below, so Mercy is very interested.

The same is true of some DPS heroes, including Pharah and Soldier: 76, who will now feel much more viable in the quirky new mode.

However, only time will tell who will take the lead as the most meta heroes moving forward.
