Outrage as tiny flat bed ‘smaller than cell’ with sink next to bed is marketed for £390 a month

This tiny apartment has caused outrage as it has been dubbed “smaller than a cell” with a bed a few inches from the sink.
For £390 a month, you’ll have the privilege of sharing your bathroom with the rest of the house.
Photos from “bed in a large Victorian house” show the sparsely decorated room with the bed filling a narrow hallway and dated kitchen units next door.
This small room in Kensington, London, has a plug-in kitchenette, a sink with cupboards and a microwave and fridge fitted underneath.
It seemed to have a chest of drawers and a dresser that used up every inch of space.
Less than a meter away, the single bed fits neatly into a small table and chair at the other end – at least you won’t have to walk far for breakfast.
Twitter users joked that they had seen cells bigger than the dingy one.
One user captioned it: “Browsing apartments on Zoopla randomly for no reason and I came across this. London housing is such a joke.”
Although first listed last November, the apartment, which also has a minimum six-month lease, has struggled to attract tenants.
The listing says the property is geared towards students and professionals, with the bonus of street parking and various shops, gyms and restaurants nearby.
They also claim that it is “greatly located” between West Kensington and Baron’s Court stations and is easily accessible from the M4, A40, A4 and Heathrow Airport.
One person replied: “Omgggg”.
“HOW WILL WANNA LIVE?” ask another.
Another replied simply: “HAHAHAHA”.
