Outlast Trials Beta Signup Release Date

You can sign up for The Outlast Trials closed beta on the official website soon. The playtest runs from October 28th to November 1st. What the beta will include hasn’t been announced yet, but the studio promises to reveal more soon.

The game is not a direct sequel to Outlast 2 and is not intended to be Outlast 3. Instead, it’s a separate spin-off centered around a secret Cold War facility. Here you place a kidnapped test subject who will be forced to take part in a series of physical and mental challenges.

Red Barrels co-founder and designer David Chateauneuf said of the beta:

“Last year we unveiled the first gameplay trailer for The Outlast Trials at Opening Night Live and were blown away by the positive response. “So it’s fantastic to be back this year and to be able to put a date on when test subjects…sorry, I mean fans, can participate in the closed beta studies.”

No release date has been set for the game yet.
