Oti Mabuse tells Ekin-Su to ‘be sexy’ after backlash on Dancing on Ice

OTI Mabuse sent an empowering message to Ekin-Su about still “being sexy” after she wowed audiences as a “nun” last night following heavy Dancing on Ice backlash.
The Love Island winner, 28, transformed into the singing nun Maria von Trapp in the 1965 musical The Sound of Music.

Ekin-Su’s first week-one dance was controversial after her see-through catsuit sparked 112 complaints from Ofcom.
Last night she did a complete about-face and turned into a nun.
Former Strictly legend Oti said: “I want you to remember to be true to yourself. You are such a beautiful young girl. It’s not a bad thing to be sexy.”
She added: “Keep that in mind. There’s nothing wrong with being sexy. It’s the power we have as women.”

Oti gushed: “You should be really proud of yourself. As you stared at the rocks I thought ‘Look at her’. Keep pushing yourself.”
Otis’ comments came after the Love Island winner turned nun in a racy outfit during Britney Spears’ first week.
Ekin-Su’s first dance led to a large number of complaints from Ofcom, as fans noted that the catsuit was “too sexy” to wear before the watershed.
One viewer wrote online: “Totally mismatched outfit. It’s a family show.”
Someone else said, “That’s a post-watershed outfit.”
And a third added: “I’m not a prude but I was terrified we’d see what she had there for breakfast with that outfit.”
Her fans were quick to rush to Ekin’s defence, with one adding: “What did you want her to wear? A Sunday dress?”
The one-piece was supposed to be a copy of what Britney Spears wore in the music video for Toxic – the song Ekin-Su danced to.
