“Other Options”: Player is now not allowed to exit Arsenal towards Nottingham Forest – Romano

Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares may not join Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window, according to a report.

Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Nuno Tavares from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that Forest is negotiating a deal for Tavares with Arsenal.

However, the Gunners don’t make it easy for the Reds.

Romano added that there are now other options for the 23-year-old Portuguese left-back and that he might not move to City Ground in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal should remain steadfast against Nottingham Forest target Nuno Tavares

We think Arsenal should remain firm on their stance on Nottingham Forest target Nuno Tavares in the summer transfer window.

Accordingly The mirror in July 2021Arsenal paid Benfica £6.8million in transfer fees for the left-back.

The Gunners need to get more than that.

Although Tavares hasn’t had much success in the Premier League, he’s now 23 and has the potential to improve.

And not Arsenal have to sell one of their fringe players.

It’s not as if the north London club are currently struggling for money and would sell players at cheap prices.

Tavares has made 22 Premier League appearances so far in his career.

The left-back has scored one goal, provided one assist and kept three clean sheets in those games.
