Olivia Rodrigo sings “Torn” with Natalie Imbruglia in a surprise performance at a show in London

Olivia Rodrigo welcomed Natalie Imbruglia on stage at her show in London last night (July 6) to sing ‘Torn’.

The moment is caught on camera and shows the couple taking turns singing parts of the 1997 hit before leading up to the chorus together.

Rodrigo had previously given a surprise performance of the track at Bunny Jackson’s bar in Manchester following their show at the Apollo last week (3 July).

With a host of celebrities joining Rodrigo on stage during her Sour tour, the 19-year-old is gaining a reputation as a surprise guest.

Last week in Glastonbury, Rodrigo welcomed Lily Allen to The Other Stage, where the couple sang Allen’s song “F*** You” before the US Supreme Court (following the court’s controversial decision). Deer vs Wade Verdict).

On the American portion of the tour, she was joined by Avril Lavigne to sing “Complicated” and Alanis Morissette for a cover of “You Oughta Know.”

“Torn” originally topped the charts after being covered and released by Imbruglia in 1997.

Despite being associated with the Australian pop star, the rendition was actually the fourth version of the song to be recorded. The track was originally written by LA band Ednaswap.

Rodrigo will be on the Eventim Apollo stage for the second time tonight (July 7) for the final show of their sour tour.
