Off-duty NYPD cop arrested for allegedly choking ex-girlfriend

An off-duty NYPD police officer was arrested for allegedly choking his ex-girlfriend during a fight in Queens late Sunday, authorities said.

Eric Ramos, 33, threw a frame off the wall, punched the 32-year-old woman in the hand and wrapped his hands around her neck, police said.

The exact location of the incident is unclear, but police said Ramos was arrested within the confines of the 111th Precinct, which covers a northeastern part of the precinct.

Authorities also didn’t know if the woman was hospitalized.
