Odds between Washington vs. UCLA, pick, best bet: Take Huskies

Despite Monday’s college basketball rankings cap, The Action Network’s Charlie DiSturco circled a PAC-12 conference game for his best bet (video above).

Revenge will certainly be on Washington’s mind as it prepares to welcome UCLA national championship contenders to Seattle. Just 9 days ago, UCLA let the Huskies lose by 26 points at their home ground.

Washington’s keeper Terrell Brown Jr dribbled next to UCLA’s Jules Bernard earlier this season.

UCLA is an absolute hitter at both ends of the floor. The Bruins are ranked in the top 15 in the nation for attack and defense, don’t flip the ball, and are a great counter-attacking unit.

DiSturco interprets Washington’s offense as a bit more one-sided.

“Washington’s offense is… led by Terrell Brown Jr., who ranks first in the top 10 for goalscoring and takes 34% of all shots while in the ring,” DiSturco detailed.

Additionally, Washington’s offense ranks around 300 points on both two- and three-point offenses.

But DiSturco believes Washington’s defense – zone 2-3 aimed at disappointing opponents – will bring them success in an unlikely position for UCLA.

“UCLA just knocked Oregon State out and have a big home game to end their regular season on Saturday against USC,” DiSturco said.

For those reasons, DiSturco says to keep your nose and back Huskies +9 on their floor. Odds between Washington vs. UCLA, pick, best bet: Take Huskies
