NYPD says Bronx shooting leaves two gunshots, one fatally shot in the head

One man was killed and another injured in a shooting in the Bronx Thursday night, police said.
Police found the two victims around 10 p.m. outside a liquor store at 189 Burnside Ave in Morris Heights after an 911 caller alerted them to the shooting.
The victim who was killed, 32, was shot in the head. He was pronounced dead after being taken to St Barnabas Hospital, police said.
The other victim – a 27-year-old man – was shot in the groin, police officers said.
He was taken to the same hospital in stable condition.
No arrests were made and police said they were still investigating.
Police are withholding the identity of the killed man pending notification of the family.
