NYPD says 25-year-old man shot dead in NYC
A 25-year-old man was shot in the stomach in the East Village on Friday night, police said.
The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. near the corner of St. Mark’s Place and 1st Avenue, according to the NYPD.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive, police officers said.
Three shell casings were recovered from the scene.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
