NYC man fatally hit in head with wooden plank
A man was fatally hit in the head with a wooden plank in a brawl in Queens early Sunday, police officers said.
Esvin Vasquez, 23, was involved in an argument with “a large group of men” when one of them hit him in the head with the plank around 2 a.m. outside a gas station on Junction Boulevard in Corona, police said.
The group then fled south on Junction Boulevard.
Vasquez was taken to Elmhurst Hospital but could not be saved.
No arrests were made.
