NYC man Eriberto Grullo smacked girlfriend in face at dinner: prosecutors

A drunk Manhattan man was arrested after allegedly slapping his girlfriend in the face for not making him dinner, authorities said.

Eriberto Grullo, 46, then vandalized the couple’s West Harlem home, breaking chairs and dishes, prosecutors said during his arraignment Saturday in Manhattan Criminal Court.

Grullo was charged with assault, molestation and attempted assault on Friday, which authorities say took place just before 10pm

He “got mad at them [the victim] because he hadn’t made him dinner. He started breaking and throwing things around her house,” Assistant District Attorney Katelyn Colman said.

The woman’s face was bruised and swollen, and her nose was bleeding after the attack, Colman said.

The accused was released on Saturday and is due to appear in court again in July.
