NYC balcony bomber stabs man in bed

A man was stabbed in his bed after an attacker who “jumped from balcony to balcony” in Queens broke into his third-floor apartment early Sunday, an NYPD spokesman said.

The balcony jumper entered the 35-year-old’s home at 132-18 57th Road when he and his wife were asleep around 2am, according to police.

The woman ran screaming out of the apartment and the door closed behind her. Then she heard her husband and the attacker screaming in the apartment.

When police arrived, they found the husband stabbed to death in bed, according to police.

“That commotion on the third floor was that he stabbed the man,” the spokesman said.

Police officers who arrived at the address found the suspect in the backyard and tasered him for resisting arrest, the spokesman said.

It was unclear whether the men knew each other.

Rescue workers who responded believed the attacker was “high on some type of drug,” police said. NYC balcony bomber stabs man in bed
