In a tweet, the NWS said the tornado passed through Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Governor Andy Beshear said at a news conference Saturday that at least 70 people have died across 10 counties in Kentucky, and that the death toll could exceed 100.
“I believe this will be the deadliest tornado system ever to run through Kentucky,” Beshear said.
There is no word yet on what level the tornado is classified into, but the images show a very destructive tornado.
