Noel Gallagher performs at Glastonbury after admitting he won’t break his commitment to a live gig for the festival

THAT’S been almost three years since Noel Gallagher made his debut at Glastonbury alongside his brother Liam as part of Oasis.
And now the leader Birds fly high preparing to come back Farm worthy this summer after he was invited to play the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, June 25.
Noel, 54, has previously said he won’t be streaming this year unless it’s at a popular music festival.
American band Haim is also scheduled to perform at Glastonbury on the same day.
A source said: ‘Noel has never performed music at Glastonbury outside Oasis who has done it twice there.
“This will be an epic moment for him and it will be an incredible moment for the festival.
“He’s currently on the queue list for Saturday’s Pyramid stage in Glastonbury and will perform right in front of the front man.
“Haim, best friends with Taylor Swift, is also scheduled to be in front of him.
“They played a live steamer from Worthy Farm last year and has been a huge success. ”
Official Glastonbury line up is expected to be released in March.
Christmas said last year he has no plans to go live this year and is focused on music but admits he will make an exception for the organizers, Michael and Emily Eavis.
He explained: “Anyway, I had a plan – by the end of 2019 I would quit in 2020, then 2021 I would write, 2022 I would shoot, then come back in 2023 – so I’m still ahead of schedule.
“I don’t plan on doing anything until 2023 anyway, but if Glastonbury happens and they want me to do it, I’ll do it.”
Christmas last appeared on the bill at Glastonbury in 2017 when he spoke at the festival’s film screening Oasis Supersonic documentary.
As well as answering questions from the crowd, Noel burst into song and led the crowd in a performance of Don’t Look Back In Anger.
He previously played at Worthy Farm as part of Oasis in 1994 and 2004 – 5 years before the group split.
With The High Flying Birds, Noel achieved massive success with the band landing four UK No1 albums.
