NJ man accused of soliciting nude photos of two girls on TikTok

A New Jersey man has been arrested for requesting nude photos of two young sisters on TikTok, Pennsylvania police officers said.

Ryan Corcoran, 26, of Andover, has been arrested on child pornography charges for allegedly asking the 11- and 12-year-old girls to send him nude photos of themselves, first via TikTok direct messages and then via text, according to The Montgomery County District Law Firm.

The girls’ father contacted the county’s detective agency on April 20 when one of his daughters told him she had sent a nude photo of herself to a copywriter who was later revealed to be Corcoran.

Both girls also received text messages from another phone number, allegedly the original copywriter’s 14-year-old sister, but in both cases she was actually Corcoran.

Prosecutors confirmed that both girls were sent nude photos and asked to provide nude photos of themselves.

Messages between the two sisters, who are from Montgomery County, were exchanged between April 17 and 20.

The investigation traced the SMS phone number to Ad Hoc Labs – a service designed to hide a user’s true phone number. Law enforcement officials served a subpoena on the company and were able to trace the phone number and IP address to an account belonging to Corcoran’s father.

A search warrant was served on the New Jersey home, and Corcoran confirmed to detectives that the cell phone number was his.

The phone numbers of both girls, the messages exchanged with the sisters, as well as the original nude picture sent by one of the girls were found on the phone saved as contacts.

“This defendant reached out to randomly selected young girls on a social media platform, requesting them to take photographs of themselves in sexually explicit poses, thereby creating what are clearly child pornographic images,” said Kevin R. Steele, Montgomery County Attorney County, in a statement.

“This is another example of predators on the internet trying to take advantage of little innocent children. Parents must always be vigilant to protect their children from these predators.”

Corcoran was charged with felony counts of child pornography, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of a minor and criminal use of a communications facility, the prosecutor’s office said.

Following his June 13 arraignment, Corcoran posted $50,000 bail and was released on condition that he not use the internet or have any contact with minors.

He is next scheduled to appear in court at a preliminary hearing on June 27. NJ man accused of soliciting nude photos of two girls on TikTok
