Things are getting worse between Adam Barlow and Lydia Chambers.
On Coronation Street, Revenge of the Underworld PA turns violent. Get the lowdown on all of this week’s cobblestone drama.
1. Adam confronts Lydia…
Adam (played by actor Sam Robertson) is fed up with Lydia’s (Rebecca Ryan) hate campaign.
This week, the lawyer decides to confront his ex-girlfriend at a coffee shop and makes sure everything is recorded.
But Lydia is one step ahead of him and grabs his cell phone to delete the recording.
Adam tries to wrestle his phone back, but when Lydia lets go, the phone smashes to the ground.
The truth about Adam and Lydia’s relationship at university is soon unraveled, but when he suggests she tell his wife Sarah (Tina O’Brien) the truth, she seethes.
Lydia realizes that Adam hasn’t changed and only cares about himself.
In a blind rage – and just as Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is searching the mall for Adam – Lydia punches Adam and gives him an almighty shove.
Adam falls backwards over the railing as Lydia watches in horror.

2. …and risk losing his eyesight
After the violent altercation, Adam is taken to the hospital, where Ken and Daniel receive terrible news.
The doctor tells them that Adam bled behind his eye and needs surgery to save his sight.
When questioned about his fall, Adam claims to remember nothing, even when Lydia is suspected to be responsible.
Is he lying?
3. Sarah refuses to see Adam
Meanwhile, Peter (Chris Gascoyne) tells Sarah that Adam is in the hospital.
Peter reassures her that Adam is no longer her problem when Sarah decides not to see her husband in the hospital.
Sarah even filed for divorce from him and told Adam the news before his confrontation with Lydia.
But Carla Connor (Alison King) urges her to reconsider and be there for Adam during his recovery when he wakes up, as she clearly still cares about him.

4. Gary ready to be exposed?
Gary Windass (Mikey North) is hiding a murderous secret from everyone in Weatherfield except his wife, Maria (Samia Longchambon).
When Maria shows Gary a picture of the new location for the county training ground that has been moved because of her campaign, he is horrified.
The reason for this is that the floor is the very place where he placed the body of loan shark Rick Neelan.
He makes the decision to move Rick’s body once more.
Gary tries to break into the site, but a security guard sees him off.
But it gets worse for him.
5. Laura seeks solace in alcohol
While battling terminal cancer, Laura Neelan (Kel Allen) struggles to come to terms with her fate.
At the Rovers, Laura swallows wine and morphine pills and admits she has done nothing but abandon her daughter, Kelly.
When she stumbles out of the pub, a worried Gary rushes to her rescue.
He then realizes that she has been drinking in addition to her medication.
Later, when Aggie slips up that Laura was drinking on top of her medication, Kelly (Millie Gibson) is furious.
After calling her the world’s most selfish mom, Kelly tells a dejected Laura that she wants her out, though Gary recommends that Kelly lighten up and enjoy their final moments together.
He might regret his choice.
When the private investigator she hired to find Rick informs her that he was unsuccessful in finding Rick, Laura is shocked to find out that all the evidence points to him being dead and the prime suspect is Gary .
She soon decides to confront him.
6. Faye drops a baby bombshell
Still feuding with Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) is terrified that she may be pregnant.
She shares her fears with her grandmother, Elaine (Paula Wilcox), but insists the timing is terrible due to her ongoing argument with Craig.
Elaine urges her to take a test.
Elsewhere, Craig is clearly upset towards Faye when his mother states that he never really wanted to leave the police force.
While Faye addresses her fears of pregnancy, Craig may be talking to his old boss about reclaiming his position as a police officer.
7. Phill gets in trouble
As she tries to earn a seat on the local Weatherfield council, Maria enlists the help of Phill (Jamie Kenna), who hatches a plan to reverse her campaign.
He draws Maria’s brother Kirk (Andy Whyment) into his plan, and he obliges in his Buzzer the Bee costume.
Phill prepares a confidential report to prove the council is covering up the dangers of local air pollution.
However, this gets him in big trouble.
As Maria and Gary cast their ballots and pose for photos outside the polling station, she hears devastating news from Phill.
Phill admits he could lose his job over the leaked report and Kirk was fired as Buzzer the Bee.
8. Steve wages war on Amy
Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) makes life difficult for his daughter Amy (Elle Mulvaney) after she prioritizes her relationship with Jacob.
Amy first shows her grandfather Ken the budget she created and asks if he will release the money from Deirdre’s trust fund to pay for her college.
Ken agrees, but when he’s ready to wire the money, Steve asks him to reconsider.
Later, Steve is not pleased to discover that Dev gave Amy a job at the kebab shop and is sabotaging Amy’s job.
He points out to Dev that she lives with Jacob, the guy who sold drugs from the Chippy.
Could this damage their relationship even more?
9. Sally comes back with a surprise
After taking care of her younger sister Gina, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) is finally making her way back from Newcastle to the streets.
She even has a surprise for her husband Tim (Joe Duttine).
When he admits he’s dying to put her to bed, she points out his six-week suspension isn’t up yet and urges him to wait.
But she’s easily persuaded to break the rules from Tim, who suggests they should have sex a day early.
Ready to proceed with their plan, the couple is thwarted when Elaine comes home.
