New dispatch audio from the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas

New audio from the Texas school shooting released Monday shows a police officer telling officers how a terrified student reported being in a “room full of victims.”

The frightening recording can be heard in one Video obtained from ABC News this shows the police response to the May 24 shooting at Robb Primary School in Uvalde, which killed 19 children and two teachers.

“Hint, we have a kid on the line,” an unidentified dispatcher is heard saying. “Room 12. Can we – is there anyone in the building -?”

“The child communicates that the room is full of victims,” ​​the dispatcher says, before repeating, “Full of victims at this moment.”

The video has no apparent timestamp and it is unknown at what point during the 78-minute shoot the shot was taken.

In the video, police officers can be seen from afar helping children escape from the school through an open window. The clip has not been independently verified by The Post.

Police in Uvalde have been sharply criticized for waiting to break into the room where 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos had locked himself in with several students – under the mistaken assumption that Ramos had barricaded himself alone and not a threat represented more for students.

Children hiding in this room made a series of harrowing 911 calls, they were barricaded inside with the gunman – with one child begging a dispatcher, “Please send the police now!”

The calls continued until shortly before Ramos’ death, showing that the people in the classroom were still alive, although authorities believed the killing had stopped.
