‘Negotiations are already advanced’: Club are now pushing for the signing of a ‘fantastic’ Tottenham player – Romano

Genoa are pushing to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele before the transfer window closes.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist reported about it Twitter that Genoa are trying to persuade Tanguy Ndombele to join them and have started talks with Tottenham over a loan deal.
“Genoa are pushing to convince Tanguy Ndombele and loan him from Tottenham,” said Romano. “The negotiations between the clubs are already advanced.”
Ndombele spent last season on loan at Napoli where he helped the Italian club win the Serie A title and another move from Tottenham now seems more than likely.
The 26-year-old is yet to play under Ange Postecoglou, suggesting he is not in his manager’s plans at the moment.
Tanguy Ndombele would be a coup for Genoa
Ndombele’s career at Tottenham did not go according to plan and he was loaned out to Napoli and his former club Lyon. However, he is still a midfielder with great quality.
The Frenchman has been described as a footballer with “amazing potential”. by Mauricio Pochettino after joining Spurs, can bring in a lot if he’s fit and in shape.
“He has power, motor, technology,” Luciano Spalletti was quoted as saying tuttomercatoweb earlier this year.

Ndombele is also a France international and has won seven caps for his country.
With Genoa playing in Serie B last season and only recently regaining promotion to Serie A, Ndombele would be a real acquisition.
From his point of view, he might want to join a better club. If the former, the man from Lyon, can find one, then great. If he doesn’t succeed, a move to Genoa would be a good idea.
Based on Postecoglou’s team picks so far, it’s clear that Ndombele will have very little playing time at Tottenham this season if he decides to stay.
