Nash Carter was removed from WWE 2K22 DLC after making an offensive gesture
After MSK Nash Carter was released for an offensive gesture in April 2022, 2K Games doubled down on its decision and removed the wrestler from the upcoming WWE 2K22 DLC.
WWE 2K22 has turned out to be quite the gift for wrestling simulator fans as 2K has managed to get the franchise back on track.
With an improved roster, visual fidelity, game modes and game mechanics, fans are impressed that the game reflects the authentic WWE brand experience. However, with this authenticity come some hurdles.
When MSK Nash Carter was fired from WWE back in April, fans speculated that he would be dropped from the June 2022 DLC – and the community has finally gotten their confirmation.
Removed Nash Carter from WWE 2K22 DLC
2K Games has officially removed fan favorite MSK Nash Carter from the upcoming WWE 2K22 DLC.
Carter, originally slated to be included in the latest wrestling simulator as part of the Stand Back Pack set for release on June 7, 2022, found himself in the midst of internet backlash in April 2022 after images of the athlete were discovered, who made an offensive gesture.
When WWE got wind of the controversial images, they terminated Carter’s contract and eventually decided to fire the wrestler from the company.
However, following the announcement, fans began speculating as to whether or not he would still be included in the upcoming June DLC.
Release a Explanation On May 19, 2022, 2K announced that it would be removing Nash Carter from the Stand Back Pack to ensure fans received “the most authentic representation of the WWE Universe.”
