Nadeshot apologizes to Froste over Bill Cosby joke and deletes 100 Thieves video

100 Thieves founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has apologized to former 100T content creator Froste after a video comparing Froste to disgraced former comedian and actor Bill Cosby.

Froste joined 100 Thieves in June 2019 along with The Mob, a collective consisting of himself, Mako, Avalanche and Classify that have evolved from “Twitter trolls” to full-fledged content creators in space.

Two years later, in 2021, it was officially announced that The Mob would be leaving 100 Thieves, and Froste has had no connection with the organization since.

That’s why Froste was so shocked when his name appeared in a recent 100 Thieves video. In it, random names were pitted against each other for specific situations, and 100T co-owner Jack “CouRage” Dunlop had to choose between Froste and Cosby “an unlikely celebrity to become the next US president,” joking that “both options are terrible.” “

Froste has since deleted his initial tweets calling out Nadeshot and CouRage.

In a now-deleted tweet, Froste called out CouRage and Nadeshot for letting it happen, saying it was “crazy” that a friend he respects “would compare him to a f***ing rapist.” He even told Nadeshot, “They don’t pay me anymore for being the butt of the joke in these cringe-ass videos, so tell your staff to keep my name out of your mouth.”

In a follow-up, he asked how to explain to his parents that “the people I once called friends compare me to a rapist for fun?”

While CouRage himself didn’t respond, Nadeshot did in a series of apologetic tweets to the former 100T creator.

He said that both personally and professionally no one 100 thieves would want to embarrass him by adding that CouRage “has been one of your biggest supporters since day 1”.

Nadeshot continued, “The clip can be interpreted in many different ways, and for that reason it should never have been cut.” He added that they “would never make a joke with that seriousness and malicious intent,” promising not to Asking the content team to delete the video.

Froste thanked Nadeshot for taking care of this, but requested that his name be omitted from future content.
