Mystery when a three-month-old boy and his one-year-old sister were found dead in the car when mom and her boyfriend were arrested

A ONE-YEAR-OLD girl and her three-month-old baby brother have died after reportedly being found in a parked car.
Police arrested the young children’s mother, Zharia Noel, and her boyfriend, Ahmene Butler, both 21, in North Carolina on Saturday.
The children were taken to UNC Nash Health Care in Rocky Mount after they were found unresponsive.
They were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The babies were not named and it is not known how they died.
Police are investigating her death as a homicide, WRAL reported.

Officials classified the babies’ deaths as suspicious News & Observers.
Neighbor Sharon Harris said the family lived in the car and it was not known how long the babies were in the vehicle.
Harris said ABC11: “I had seen the little 1-year-old before. And then one day I heard a cry and I said, ‘Oh Lord, there’s a baby in that car.’”
She added: “Right now this hurts me. This really hurts me. Those were babies.”
It is not known whether the family was homeless.
Noel and Butler were arrested and police say both have been charged with two counts of negligent manslaughter and two counts of child molestation.
They are scheduled to appear at the Edgecombe County Courthouse in Tarboro on Monday.
Cops say Noel and Butler could face additional charges once autopsies are complete.
