A FIVE-Year-Old boy has racked up a huge £600 bill after ordering ice cream on his unsuspecting father’s phone
Christian King, from Sydney, Australia, bought the bathtubs as his favorite dish over UberEats.
Kris’ dad gave Christian his phone so he wouldn’t be distracted while his sister’s soccer game was going on.
But the boy then picked up crates of his favorite ice cream as well as seven boxes of cakes, jars of chocolate spreads and bottles of milk, the report said. Guardians.
Kris said Christian warned him he had “something on the way,” but he didn’t believe it — that was until an UberEats delivery driver called his wife.
“We almost had a heart attack,” he said.
“I scrolled through the screen about 30 times. The order for so long, like 99 cakes”.
“He actually told me he had ordered a birthday cake for himself, and I didn’t even believe it.”
Kris added: “I felt steam coming out of my ears, first when I shouted his name in the street. He ran to his room before I told him so.”
The epic order was shipped to the Newtown Fire Station, where King worked as a firefighter, and that’s where he took the final order.
His colleagues were on duty accepting orders and forced to take everything they had in the fridge to fit it all in.
UberEats agreed to refund the order when King and his wife explained what happened.
