But some might say, there’s nothing worse than having to share your big day with someone else.
So you can understand the frustration of a 16 year old girl after learning that she will soon have to share her big day with her niece or nephew.
But this is not just a coincidence, this happened after her sister “chosen” to be caused on her birthday.
The 16-year-old was really upset with her sister’s decision and lashed out at her, saying she shouldn’t share her big day.
This caused a bit of tension between the sisters and now other family members also joined in.
16 years old has come Reddit to explain the situation.
She said: “Me (16 years old) and my sister (25 years old) did not grow up too close.
“She doesn’t really like the idea of sharing her limelight, which is honestly respectable because let’s see where it is for now.
“Anyway, with all that being said, my sister found out she was pregnant a few months ago and nothing has really changed.
“My parents were with her as usual, and I was put in her shadow again.
“I wasn’t upset about it until yesterday when she announced that she had set her rollout date and it would be March 1, which is my birthday.
“I don’t know if it was just an immature teenager in me but I was furious.”

The teenager revealed that out of anger, she got angry with her sister, but unfortunately that caused some tension in the family.
She continued: “I asked her why she had to choose my date of birth, and she said it didn’t matter and that I should be happy to share my date.
“I yelled at her about how bad a big sister she was and how her baby meant nothing to me.
“She started crying and my mother called me ungrateful.
“It’s been a few days and my whole family aside from my brother (who is on my side) has been ignoring me.
“I felt like an *s because maybe she thought it was going to be some kind of bonding experience but she never asked me if I was okay with it first.”
The 16-year-old’s Reddit post has garnered more than 2,000 views and nearly 850 comments, but Reddit users are divided over who is in the wrong.
One commented: “It’s so amazing that she picked your date.”
Another added: “What do you have to be grateful for? That she will celebrate your birthday on her? Hopefully the induction is late enough by the day the baby is born on the 2nd day. Also, don’t babysit.”
However, one Reddit user asked, “Are you sure she’s set her referral date? I’ve been irritated before and you don’t usually have any choice,” missing The teen replied, “She said she chose it. She was allowed to choose between my birthday and a few days before that.”
Another said: “Why on earth do you think you should be consulted? I mean, aside from you being the center of the universe?”
Another said: “I would expect a 16-year-old to be more knowledgeable.”
As for other real life stories, I pointed out that my niece’s name was misspelled and now everyone is smoking me.
