When you go to a tattoo parlor, you expect a job that looks professional.
Unfortunately, one woman ended up with a tattoo that looked like it might have been drawn by a two-year-old.
Use viral sounds to describe someone laughing about a wrong manicurewoman, person using handle @ katiefrancis234 online, showing that she originally requested a simple tattoo that only required symbols to complete.
The tattoo uses a parenthesis with a colon on each side so it can be interpreted as a happy and sad face.
After showing a photo of the tattoo she requested, the woman revealed what she actually received.
Faulty artwork looks like it was scribbled with a pen, and doesn’t use two colons.
Instead, it consists of a single parenthesis sandwiched by two equal signs.
Of course, this is another way to show a smiley face, but it’s not what was asked for.
It seems the artist didn’t have a steady hand and tried to make the lines appear smooth by repeating his tracks over and over.
Katie doesn’t reveal where she got her tattoo done, but it’s probably safe to say she won’t be back.
On the bright side, a few weeks later, she posted a video showing off her new manicure and she said she “loved” it.
Katie is lucky her tattoo is so easy to hide, unlike another woman who received a failed tattoo job and had to book an appointment at another salon to get it fixed.
Likely to be worse, one woman said she received a tattoo on her back, claiming it was the biggest mistake of her life.
