My neighbor keeps stealing my packages so I created a fake package

A WOMAN who claims her neighbor keeps stealing her packages has shared how she created a fake package to catch the culprit.

However, TikToker @emmydee2386 claims that was not what eventually stopped the alleged thief.

“Got a new apartment and someone keeps stealing my new Amazon packages,” she wrote of the Videowhich has been viewed more than 14 million times.

“So I had an idea,” Emmy continued as she showed up finding a box and adding some trash, as well as a bottle of water to make it heavier.

She also added the pizza she “burned while filming the video.”

Emmy also included a note that read, “Here’s some junk for the piece of junk that’s stealing my packages!”

Finally, she stuck a fake shipping label on the box filled with garbage.

Many commented on Emmy’s idea and shared their own suggestions.

One comment read: “Adding cat 💩 in the box would be wonderful.”

Another added: “I should have put a tracker in it lol.”

In a second video, Emmy showed her followers what happened after she placed the box on her door.

“Unfortunately, nobody took the bait,” she said. “But the good news is none of my real packages have been [taken] either.”

One of the commenters argued that nobody took the packages because there is a camera.

Another commented, “I think it was your neighbor and they saw what you did so they didn’t take the bait.”

Finally, Emmy shared that she was surprised at how many commenters wanted her to defecate in the box.
